Ok! all of you crafters and artist, here is what we are planning so far and it all looks great.
1. We will be accepting artists and crafters who would like to sell there art, crafts and or wares,
and we will need to see your product or get a sample. If you live out of state and have a web
site, we can look and see from that.
2. Once you have been accepted, we would like to have the product at the store around August
15Th and we will also need to have all product on an inventory list with your Qty, description and
price, so that we can check it in. At which time we can e-mail you with the confirmation of all
product received. When you take something out you will need to fill out and inventory of what
you are taking out too.( Out of towners we will fill it out and include it in your shipping box.)
3. This shoppe will be set up like and olde mercantile type of store or boutique. The vendors
will not be putting there merchandise out, it will be done by use at the store. Out of Towners
we will take pictures of your product and send you an e-mail , so you can see.
4. We have decided not to charge a booth or rent fee and we are going with a straight 25%
commission. We felt that this way the vendor will receive a check no matter what they sell
and in this economy this is a way to keep the money flowing between the business and the
vendors.
5. The Store is Planning on Opening SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 we want to be up and running for
the Holiday season.
